FG unveils new Visa regime to improve foreign investments

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved a new visa policy aimed at boosting economic investment.
Briefing state house correspondents, Minister of interior, Abah Moro said the visa policy is one of the instruments to be used by the federal government to improve foreing direct investments FDI.

He said, ”The new visa regime aimed at boosting the country's economic investment has been approved today by the Federal Executive Council. The assumption and dynamics on the basis of which we had our old policy have changed in line with the realities of our time. So a new visa policy is needed to safeguard our values as a nation and boost tourism which will in turn generate employment for our people. "
Abah Moro also added that the new policy will also be used to fight terrorism in our land and protect the country against external aggression.
